Dr. Tun began his medical journey at the Institute of Medicine in Yangon, Myanmar, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2000. He went on to earn a Master of Science in Community Health and Health Education from Western Illinois University in 2003, reflecting his passion for public health and wellness education.
He completed his Internal Medicine internship at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and continued his residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania—a respected teaching hospital affiliated with Drexel and Temple University medical schools. These formative years helped shape his philosophy of blending clinical skill with genuine human connection.
